our roots

Our founders visited Turkey in Summer 2013 and fell in love with its history, art, land, and people. While staying in Istanbul, their host provided them with Turkish Peshtemal for their bath towels. They were luxuriously soft from years of use, beautifully colored, and dried fast enough to use twice a day. They fell in love with them and instantly knew they wanted to bring this Turkish secret to the rest of the world.

After returning home they started Findkili Design and gifted us several of their curated line of Peshtemal. We quickly became obsessed with our “Turkish Towels” and we brought them everywhere - beaches, parks, planes - they are truly a superior towel and ideal for travel. 

Years later when the opportunity presented itself, we decided it was time for us to take Findikli to new heights. The partnership with our family owned loom in Istanbul is strong and we are thrilled to present a new line of blankets & “mini” baby towels in addition to the classic peshtemal which gave Findikli its start.
